ACT Stream TV 4K Android-Based Media Streaming Box Now Available on Rental Basis

ACT Stream TV 4K media streaming box from ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Ltd.) Fibernet is now available on a monthly rental basis. The ACT Stream TV 4K, which is powered by Android, supports 4K streaming with support for Dolby Audio and Google Assistant voice control. Since it is Android-based, there are more than 3,000 apps available for the ACT Stream TV 4K. The rental plans include a Rs. 200 per month option and a Rs. 1,000 option which will last for six months. Customers can also make a one-time purchase of Rs. 4,499. The company is also touting new features, like preloaded Amazon Prime, Netflix add to bill, and more.

ACT Stream TV 4K Gets Amazon Prime Video Support

ACT Stream TV 4K, which is the Android TV-based box from ACT Fibernet, is now receiving Amazon Prime Video support. Launched last year, the ACT Stream TV 4K comes bundled with a host of OTT apps like Netflix, ZEE5, Hotstar and so on. However, one popular OTT app missing from the list was Amazon Prime Video. Starting March 2020, new ACT Stream TV 4K users will be able to see Amazon Prime Video coming pre-installed on their device. Existing users of ACT Stream TV 4K will receive a firmware upgrade which will install the application as a system app. Despite the lack of support, we have managed to install Amazon Prime Video app on our ACT Stream TV 4K, but it will now come pre-installed which is a good thing.

Under this partnership, the app will be pre-installed in the streaming device. The ACT Stream 4K device was launched last year, and the company is already offering content from Netflix, Hotstar, ZEE5, and many more. The company also said the existing users will get an update so that they can install this application.
