ACT Fibernet introduces upgraded speeds, unlimited data for broadband plans

Bangalore-based broadband service ACT Fibernet recently announced that it will be offering unlimited data with upgraded speed limits for all its broadband plans in Chennai, India. The company plans to bring the new plans into effect from December 24, 2020, at no additional charge to existing users. ACT Fibernet has upgraded to ACT Basic, ACT Blaze, ACT Blast Promo, ACT Storm and ACT Lightning plans to new speeds and industry-standard unlimited FUPs. The monthly rental prices of these plans continue to remain the same. Here are all the details on each plan explained.

100 Mbps Broadband Plans Which You Must Check Out Today

Demand for 100 Mbps broadband plans have gone up in the last couple of months. Telecom operators such as Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offer 100 Mbps plans which do not vary much in terms of benefits but are different nonetheless. Other internet service providers (ISPs) such as Excitel and ACT also offer users 100 Mbps broadband plans. The Rs 799 plan from ACT, the same as Airtel Xstream Fiber provides users with 100 Mbps downloading and uploading speed

ACT Fibernet 125 Mbps Broadband Plan Comes at an Effective Price of Rs 896 per Month

With the launch of aggressive broadband plans from Reliance Jio under the JioFiber brand, ACT Fibernet is left with no other option other than launching competitive plans. In September and October, we saw ACT Fibernet revising its broadband plans in almost every city it is operating. Alongside doubling the FUP limit, the company also increased speed limits in select cities. In Hyderabad, ACT Fibernet now has a 125 Mbps broadband plan priced at Rs 1,075, however, customers can get it for a lower price by opting for the long-term option. Similar to the 125 Mbps plan, ACT Fibernet’s other broadband plans of Rs 700 and Rs 1,325 can also be purchased in long-term option for a reduced price.
