ACT Fibernet Eyeing More Partnerships For Hy-Fi Project; CEO Bala Malladi

After launching public Wi-Fi hotspots in Hyderabad, ACT Fibernet wants to collaborate with other governments to bring similar services. Notably, the internet service provider has partnered with the Telangana government to launch more than 3,000 public Wi-Fi hotspots in Hyderabad under the Hy-Fi project. ACT Fibernet launches 2nd edition of ‘Welcome Back’ initiative

ACT Fibernet, one of India's largest fiber broadband ISP (Internet Service Provider), today announced the 2nd edition of 'Welcome Back' initiative, a returnship programme to encourage and enable individuals to resume work post their career breaks. The initiative is an approach to create a pathway for them to return to a suitable career. The 'Welcome Back' initiative will be a six-week skilling program that will focus on corporate fundamentals and alignment of self for work, functional trainings, hands-on experience of working on real time scenarios followed by an assessment and certification. The candidates will be identified on the basis of final assessment post the skill development program.

Programme to pave return from career break

A programme to encourage and enable individuals to resume work post their career breaks has been rolled out by ACT Fibernet. It is the second edition of ‘Welcome Back’ initiative, the internet service provider said about the six-week skill development programme in a release recently. The focus will be on corporate fundamentals and alignment of self for work, functional trainings, hands-on experience of working on real-time scenarios followed by assessment and certification. The candidates will be identified on the basis of final assessment post the skill development programme. According to the ISP, the programme is aimed to attract talented professionals who have taken career breaks, either short or long-term, and now desirous to return to work.
