As the Central government selected Visakhapatnam as one of the cities to be developed as smart city, a high speed and high download broadband service is being offered.

Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt Ltd (ACT), a broadband, cable and digital TV service provider, which is embarking on a pan-India rollout, has said it intends to have one million subscribers by next year.

Bengaluru-based Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) Limited will be entering the Vizag broadband market in the next three months, informed the xompany's chief executive officer even as the company renamed local brand Bream Fiber as ACT Fibernet.

Beam Fiber, the city-based broadband service provider, has been renamed as ACT Fibernet. It also launced 100 Mbps plan in the city.
